Ford’s China JV to put off ‘1000’s’ of staff: New York Occasions

BEIJING (Reuters) – Ford Motor Co’s three way partnership in China has “quietly begun” dismissing 1000’s of its 20,000 staff as a consequence of weak auto gross sales on this planet’s second-largest financial system, the New York Occasions reported on Wednesday.

The report didn’t establish its supply of the knowledge on the size of the job cuts.

Ford didn’t instantly touch upon the report. A spokeswoman for Ford’s native three way partnership firm, fashioned in partnership with Changan Vehicle Group, didn’t reply to a request for rapid remark.
